This egg carton green house can be used for starting any seeds indoors because we know the weather in spring can be unpredictable. By starting seeds early you will have fully grown seedlings ready to plant when the weather is warmer.
After you read this post check out how to plant cucumbers seeds and put this green house to good use!

You will need:
Egg Carton (any size will work)
Plastic Wrap
Glue / Tape / Scissors
Green House Instructions:
With your egg carton, cut out the top of carton. Run a strip of glue around the outside of the cut out section of the egg carton. Cut 1 piece of plastic wrap that goes around the outside of the carton. Tape it down. Then repeat and place one layer of plastic wrap on the inside of the carton and secure it.
HINT: If you use a glue stick around the edges the plastic wrap will have something to stick to and won't move around so much as you secure it in place, but this step can be skipped.
This little green house is a great little project and can be made ahead of time. It's also a great way to get young kids involved in gardening. Starting children off young and teaching them to appreciate the magic of nature is so important. You can grow anything in this little green house! Try sprouting sunflower seeds, kidney beans or peanuts.
